My global client is looking to hire an experienced IT Support (Desktop) Technician for a permanent role based in their Wokingham offices. Reporting to the IT Manager this role will provide 1st Line support (with some 2nd line thrown in too), covering multiple offices, working with Windows operating systems, MS-Office application software, desktop/laptop support etc. In addition, my client is looking for someone who has some exposure to Windows Server, Active Directory including user accounts, password refresh etc.
My client is looking for an energetic individual with strong communication skills and a good work ethic. The support environment has structured SLA's with tickets/incidents needing to be resolved or escalated efficiently. We are looking to progress applications quickly and my client is hoping to schedule face to face interviews, in Wokingham, at some point next week. There is a large call-centre onsite so previous experience providing support in a similar environment would be beneficial. There may be occasions where support is required out of hours or on weekends, though this is likely to be rare, and my client would need someone who can be flexible as and when required.
